Example of a poem which lament the death someone?

Elegy

In realms where shadows dance,

A mournful tale unfolds,

Where hope and life lay trance,

and hearts ache with untold

A being dear has passed away,

Their presence now a void,

Leaving scars that ne'er give way

In sadness' veil, we're buoyed.

Oh, lament, ye heavens weep

For the loss we must endure

Through memories, we shall keep,

The flame that once burned pure

Like autumns leaves they gently fall,

Their spirit takes its leave

Yet within out hearts, they'll dwell

In love, they shall conceive

Their voice, forever etched,

Resounding in our minds

Their warmth and kindness, deeply etched

A solace that one finds

Through tears, we seek solace's grace

Amidst the dark and grey

For in their wake, they've left a trace

Of love that won;t fade away

They journey on, our spirits soar

To reach ethereal planes

Where pain and suffering are no more

Eternity, their gain

So let us mourn with aching heart

And honor the life they lead

Their legacy, forever depart

In love and grace, they seed.

Their memory, a guiding star

We carry as we live

In every heartbeat near and far

Their essence shall persist
