Where is the prisoners poem?

The Prisoner

by Oscar Wilde

I have been here for long,

In this dark, cold cell,

With nothing to do

But think on what I've done.

I have thought of my crimes,

And the pain I've caused,

And I am filled with regret.

I wish I could go back,

And make things right,

But I know that I cannot.

I am a prisoner,

And I will never be free.

But even in here,

I can find hope.

I can find hope in the love of my family,

And in the kindness of my friends.

I can find hope in the beauty of nature,

And in the power of art.

I can find hope in the goodness of humanity,

And in the promise of redemption.

I am a prisoner,

But I am not defeated.

I will never give up hope,

And I will never stop fighting for my freedom.
