Why does Juno become anger with Echo?

In the myth, Juno becomes angry with Echo because Echo helps Jupiter, also known as Zeus, hide his affair with the nymph Callisto from Juno, the queen of the gods. When Juno discovers Jupiter's infidelity, she punishes Echo by taking away her ability to speak coherently, reducing her to repeating the last words she hears.
