What poem starts with these stanzaA knock at the doorand he stands there?

Visitor by Raymond Carver.

A knock at the door

and he stands there,

an old man bent with age,

a hat over his long hair.

He asks if he can sit down,

explains that he's lost,

driving through this country

for a wife he hasn't seen

in forty years.

I sit across from him

at my kitchen table,

wondering if I look

as old to him as he

looks to me.
