What is the difference between an ode poem and a limerick poem?

An ode is a lyrical poem, usually of moderate length, that expresses strong feelings or thoughts about a serious subject. Odes are often written in a formal style, using elevated language and imagery. The structure of an ode is typically consistent and symmetrical, with each stanza having the same number of lines and following the same rhyme scheme.

A limerick is a humorous poem that consists of five lines. The first, second, and fifth lines have seven syllables, and the third and fourth lines have five syllables. The rhyme scheme is AABBA. Limericks are often playful and nonsensical, and they often use wordplay and satire to produce humour.
