Figure of speech poem unworthy gift?

Oxymoron

An unworthy gift,

A paradox of sorts,

A contradiction in terms,

Like love and hate.

Something that is given,

Yet not appreciated,

Not valued or desired,

Like beauty in the eye of the beholder.

A burden to receive,

Something with strings attached,

A poisoned chalice,

Like friendship turned to enmity.

An embarrassment

A cause for discomfort,

A white elephant that no one wants

Unworthy gifts.
