Trigger is an acoustic guitar made by Martin. Nelson acquired it in 1969 for $750, and has used it ever since. The guitar has been modified over the years, including having a hole drilled in the body to improve its sound. Nelson has said that he loves the sound of Trigger, and that it is the only guitar he feels comfortable playing.
