Here is the full text of the poem:
If You Be a Tree, Brush
If you be a tree, brush
By your leaves as you go,
And so be a voice
To the listening ear of the rose,
If you be a bush, be
A bush in all your might:
Stand erect and look
The wind full in the eye,
If you be a tree, grow
Up straight and strong and tall,
And be content to be
What nature gave you to be,
If you be a bush, stand
As firmly as you can,
And bend or break
Just as the winds allow.
But whether bush or tree,
Remember this:
Nature is never wrong.
