# Lovely Mosquito

O’Lovely mosquito,

you came buzzing by,

I smacked you quickly

and waved goodbye.

Just because you’re an insect

doesn’t mean that I hate you,

I hate the itch

after I ate you.

Next time you come bugging me,

please come when I am asleep.

That way, I’ll dream you’re a snack

and swallow you in my sleep.

I know it sounds kinda mean

that I want you to die,

but when you’re on my skin,

I want to cry.

And that is why my dear friend,

when you’re itching to see me,

Please don’t fly,

just buzz by me.
