What is an aabbccdd poem?

An aabbccdd poem is a specific poetic form that follows a particular rhyme scheme. Each line of the poem consists of four syllables/beats and ends with a rhyming word. The first two lines (a) rhyme with each other, the next two lines (b) rhyme with each other, and so on, creating an AABBCCDD pattern. Here's an example:

Roses are red (a)

Violets are blue (b)

Sugar is sweet (c)

And so are you (d)

Apples are round (a)

Bananas are long (b)

Cats are furry (c)

Dogs wag their tongues (d)

This poem follows the aabbccdd rhyme scheme, where the first two lines (roses, violets) rhyme, the next two lines (sugar, you) rhyme, and so on. The pattern continues throughout the entire poem.
