When was One for Sorrow - song created?

The song "One for Sorrow" is a traditional English nursery rhyme and folk song. Its exact origin is unknown, but it is believed to have been composed sometime in the 18th century. The rhyme was included in James Orchard Halliwell's 1842 collection "Nursery Rhymes of England." The earliest known printed version of the song is from 1784.
