      To get rid of occasional popup ads on your home computer, there are a number of free software downloads which will block the majority of pop up ads that appear on your screen. Software programs like "Pop-Up Stopper Free" and "Pop-Up Killer" can largely reduce the number of pop-ups on your computer.
