How to Get Excalibur

Excalibur is one of the best weapons available to the player in Final Fantasy XII. Finding this powerful weapon is not easy, however, and the player will need to traverse the Great Crystal in Giruvegan to obtain it. While trekking through this area, with its series of linked portals, is frustrating many players, Excalibur, with its attack power of 128, makes the journey well worth it.

Instructions

    • 1

      Begin by traveling to the Great Crystal in Giruvegan.

      Enter the Crystal and move north from Waystone VIII to IX.

      Touch Waystone IX and be teleported to Waystone X.

      Go south past Waystone XX to Sagittarius and touch the gatestone.

    • 5

      Return to Waystone XX and head east to Waystone XII.

    • 6

      Touch Waystone XII to get to Waystone XIV.

    • 7

      From Waystone XIV, go one screen southwest, one screen northwest, and one screen northeast to reach the chest that contains Excalibur.

    • 8

      Open the chest, making sure that you have the Diamond Armlet equipped.
