How to find novels by Nobel Prize Winners
Each year, several Scandinavian committees award Nobel Prizes to those who make significant contributions to physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, economics and peace. The Swedish Academy awards the Nobel Prize in Literature to an author for outstanding literary achievement. The French poet Sully Prudhomme was the first recipient of the prize for literature in 1901. American Nobel laureates in literature include Ernest Hemingway, John Steinbeck and Eugene O'Neil.
