What did Conrad Gesner write about the curative use of dragon fat in Harry Potter?

Conrad Gesner is a real historical figure, a 16th-century Swiss naturalist. While he did write about dragons, he was not mentioned in the Harry Potter books.

The books mention a book called "The Monster Book of Monsters", which is a magical textbook used by students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. While the book itself is fictional, it does draw inspiration from real books about mythical creatures, including those by Conrad Gesner.

However, the use of dragon fat as a curative agent is a fictional concept within the Harry Potter universe, not something documented by Conrad Gesner or any other historical figure.
