Was Chopin a baroque German or Austrian composer?

Frédéric Chopin was a Polish composer and pianist of the Romantic period, not a Baroque German or Austrian composer. He was born in Żelazowa Wola, Poland, in 1810 and died in Paris, France, in 1849.
