How did Juliet and Friar plan go wrong?

The plan between Juliet and Friar Laurence for her to fake her death did not go as planned, leading to a series of unintended consequences:

Timing:

- The friar's letter explaining the plan to Romeo is delayed due to the quarantine of the messenger, Friar John. As a result, Romeo never learns of the fake death plan and believes Juliet is actually dead.

Miscommunication:

- Friar John's inability to deliver the letter leads to a breakdown in communication between Friar Laurence and Romeo.

Fateful Assumption:

- Believing Juliet is dead, Romeo purchases poison and returns to Verona, where he finds her in the Capulet tomb. He drinks the poison, thinking they will be together in death.

Tragic Timing:

- Juliet awakens just as Romeo dies. Seeing him dead, she stabs herself with Romeo's dagger, unable to bear the thought of living without him.

The original plan hinged on precise timing and communication, but these factors failed, resulting in a tragic turn of events and the lovers' untimely deaths.
