Sherlock Holmes - The Gloria Scott?

The Adventure of the Gloria Scott is one of the 56 short Sherlock Holmes stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It was published in August 1893 in The Strand Magazine, and featured in The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, published later that same year.

In this story, Holmes and Watson are approached by a young man named Trevor Bennett, who is worried about his uncle, Arthur Cardigan. Cardigan has gone missing after traveling to the coast and boarding a ship called the Gloria Scott. Holmes and Watson investigate, and soon discover that Cardigan was involved in a forgery scheme and has been kidnapped by the criminals he was working with. With the help of the police, they are able to track down the criminals and rescue Cardigan, who is being held captive on a remote island.
