What happened to Patsy Sullivan Webb?

Patsy Sullivan Webb committed suicide by hanging herself shortly after the end of World War II, on Sunday May 6, 1945 between 8-9pm. Sullivan had just learned earlier that evening, that Robert would not allow their relationship to become further, due to pressure exerted upon him by some of his Hollywood backers, due to her background not matching expectations of how his personal life as perceived publicly and the negative press and notoriety he would receive were he to further involve himself with her
