Have they ever found the body of Leslie howard?

The body of Leslie Howard, the actor who played Ashley Wilkes in "Gone with the Wind," was never recovered.

He died in 1943 when the plane he was on, flying from Lisbon to England, was shot down by German fighters over the Bay of Biscay.

Despite extensive searches, no wreckage or bodies were ever found.
