How to Find an ASIN on a Book
Amazon is a tool for finding books, music and a variety of other items online at discounted prices. Amazon provides most published books and is a resource for finding out-of-print or hard-to-find publications. An Amazon Standard Identification Number, or ASIN, is a 10-digit ID number used to identify items in the Amazon system. For books, the ASIN is the same as the book's ISBN. These numbers are used to keep track of the title in Amazon's catalog and to track sales and other pertinent information.
