How to Play Naruto Online

You can spend a lot of money as a Naruto fan, or you can save your money and find lots of free ways to enjoy the Naruto experience. One of the most popular free online games is at Naruto-Arena.com--the same website that sponsors the Naruto forums at Naruto-Boards.com. The game allows you to pit your online ninja skills against another individual over the Internet.

Instructions

  1. Prepare to Play Naruto Online

    • 1

Prepare yourself to play Naruto Online by studying the main characters in the series and learning as much as you can about their skills and modes of attack, their charka and any weaknesses that they may have revealed. You can gather this information by reading the manga, watching anime episodes on DVD or on the Cartoon Network and checking Naruto collectible cards or articles in "Naruto Collector" magazine.

    • 2

Check with your parents to make sure they are cool with you playing Naruto Online on your computer, and explain that there is no downloading involved.

    • 3

Read the game manual at Naruto-Arena.com to get all the information you need to start playing the game right away (see Resources below).

    • 4

Register an account with Naruto-Arena.com, if you haven't done so already, by clicking on the "Register" button and providing the information requested. If you have already joined Naruto-Boards.com you can log in with that user ID and be automatically recognized on Naruto-Arena.com.

    Begin Playing Your First Game

    • 5

Click on the "Start Playing" button to select 3 characters from about 50 choices of characters that are available in the game, and let your opponent do the same to prepare for a 3-on-3 battle. You can select an opponent whom you know by choosing "Private Game" and typing in her Naruto-Arena.com user name, or play a "ladder game" where the website hooks you up with another player as an opponent.

    • 6

Use the tactics and strategies that are most appropriate for your characters to damage and weaken your opponents. Each of the six characters begins the game with 100 health points. Your goal is to get all three of your opponent's characters down to zero health before it happens to your characters.

    Improve Your Game Skills

    • 7

Improve your game skills by playing different opponents and learn from each loss.

    • 8

Select different characters each time you play at first, until you have a good understanding of each character's strengths and weaknesses.

    • 9

Read the Naruto-Boards.com forums on the online game to see how other experienced Naruto enthusiasts approach playing the game (see Resources below).
