Decide which online book printing service you would like to use (see Resources below). There are many choices available, depending upon your goal. If you want to print just a few copies of your book for family and friends, choose one of the companies that doesn't require a large minimum order. If you plan to print many copies, you will want to use one of the online print-on-demand, or POD, publishers that offer discounts for large orders.
Create an account with the online book publisher of your choice. Once you have an account, you can use one of the web-based design templates to design your book. These book design companies let you choose every design element for your book. Select the image for your cover, the type of binding you want, what type of paper your book will be printed on and what size you want your book to be.
Upload the files for your book. Online publishers accept standard word processing and desktop publishing files, including Microsoft Word and Adobe InDesign. Be sure to carefully proofread your manuscript and make sure any graphics are placed exactly where you want them to be before uploading your book. Order a single copy first so you can examine the final result. You may want to make changes before ordering a box of them.
