How To Cite an Internet Source in a Bibliography in MLA Style

Modern Language Association (MLA) style is a common format for bibliographies that can be used to cite any reference material you use to compose your essay. All works should be cited whether you use them for background information or quote from them directly. The latest MLA guidelines cover a wide range of electronic sources, including Internet sites. Following MLA style citation ensures that a professor, or anyone else reading your paper at a later date, can go back and locate the exact source you used to support your claims.
