What is KeeWee Records?

KeeWee Records was a German independent record label specializing in electronic music. It was founded in 1992 by Sven Väth and Michael Münzing as an offshoot of the famous techno club Tresor in Berlin. KeeWee Records released music by a number of notable artists, including Väth himself, Münzing, Richie Hawtin, Josh Wink, and Plastikman. The label was known for its high-quality electronic music and helped to popularize the minimal techno genre. KeeWee Records closed in 2003.
