What has the author W H C Prideaux written?
William Henry Courtenay Prideaux was an English diplomat, politician, and travel writer. He is best known for his book Impressions of Japan (1896), which was one of the first books written by a Western author to give a positive account of Japan and its culture. Prideaux also wrote a number of other books, including Notes for a Bibliography of Edward FitzGerald (1901), Recollections of a Crimean Veteran (1904), and The Education of a Diplomatist (1912).
