Emerson Gray is a country singer and songwriter from Montgomery, Alabama. He is best known for his hit songs "The Way You Look Tonight" and "I Bet".

Early Life

Emerson Gray was born on June 11, 1990, in Montgomery, Alabama. He began singing at a young age and was influenced by country music artists such as George Strait, Merle Haggard, and George Jones. Gray also played the guitar and drums in a band with his friends.

Career

In 2011, Gray moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a career in music. He signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing and began writing songs for other artists. In 2014, he released his debut EP, "Love on the Run".

Gray's big break came in 2015 when he was signed to Warner Bros. Records. His debut album, "American Kid", was released in 2017 and debuted at number one on the Billboard Country Albums chart. The album's lead single, "The Way You Look Tonight", was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Gray's second album, "At the End of the Day", was released in 2018 and debuted at number two on the Billboard Country Albums chart. The album's lead single, "I Bet", was certified platinum by the RIAA.

Personal Life

Emerson Gray is married to his high school sweetheart, Amy. The couple has two children together, a son and a daughter. Gray is active in his community and supports several charities, including the Country Music Association Foundation and the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
