Open the first paragraph with a description of the spa. Usually, these are adjectives that describe the atmosphere. What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you walk in the door? Things such as the smell and decor should be mentioned in this paragraph. Mention things that catch your eye.
Cover the specifics. Also in the first paragraph, note the general or specific location of the spa. Is it downtown? Note things such as what sort of neighborhood its in and if it’s in a shopping center and various other environmental things. Spa-goers typically care if there are fine-dining restaurants or upscale stores in the area.
Mention any special services or offerings they have in the second paragraph. If there are wraps or pedicures that other salons don't do in the area, mention it. The key is to make sure this spa has a distinct personality. Details such as price ranges should be mentioned here as well.
Review the services. Give details about the quality of the massage, facial or any other treatment. Mention any different products they use as well. Describe the behavior of the staff and the type of treatment you received. After all, the staff's behavior and customer service is a major part of the visitor experience.
Rate the performance of the spa overall. Using adjectives, not number-rankings unless specified by your editor, give an overall opinion of the experience. Would you go back? What would you tell a friend who has an appointment?
Mention any cautionary or insider advice, deals or coupons being included in your review also.
