How to List an Electronic Textbook in MLA Format

The Internet offers ease of research and discovery, and the opportunity to expand your research hundreds of thousands of miles beyond your local or university library. But with this opportunity comes responsibility: Whatever the Internet sources of the data and ideas you gather to build your argument, you must be careful to document those sources as completely and correctly as possible. The Modern Language Association of America promulgates guidelines to the sourcing and citing of Internet references. Follow the guidelines of the MLA when you're listing an electronic textbook on your works cited page or as a textual reference.
