Who is the head editor of bbc news?

The BBC News has a Director of News and Current Affairs, currently Jonathan Munro.

However, they are not the "head editor" in the traditional sense. There is no single person who acts as the overall editor for all BBC News content. Instead, there is a team of editors responsible for different areas of news, including:

* Editor, BBC News at Six and BBC News at Ten: This role is currently held by Rebekah Brooks.

* Editor, BBC News at One: This role is currently held by Sarah Sands.

* Editor, BBC World News: This role is currently held by Deborah Turness.

* Editor, BBC Online: This role is currently held by Jonathan Glancey.

These editors are responsible for the content and editorial direction of their respective news outlets. There are also a number of other senior editorial roles within BBC News.
