What has the author E G Fenner written?

Edgar George Fenner (1909–2005), known as E. G. Fenner and also known as Gwyn Evans, was a British author and journalist. He is best known for his books about the Yorkshire Dales, including The Northern Dales (1949), Over the Pennines (1952), and Yorkshire Dales (1962).

Fenner was born in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. He left school at the age of 14 and worked in various jobs before becoming a journalist. He worked for several newspapers, including the Yorkshire Post and Leeds Mercury, before becoming a freelance writer in 1939.

Fenner wrote over 50 books, including novels, travelogues, and children's books. He also wrote several plays and radio dramas. His work has been translated into more than 20 languages.

Fenner died in 2005 at the age of 96.
