Was Ronnie Shannon who wrote I Love for Aretha Franklin white?

Ronnie Shannon did not write "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" for Aretha Franklin. Gerry Goffin and Carole King wrote it. And, yes, both Goffin and King are White.
