What is the denowment part of short story The Diamond Necklace?

In "The Diamond Necklace," the denouement occurs when Madame Loisel learns the truth about the necklace she borrowed from Madame Forestier. After ten years of hard work and struggle, the Loisels finally pay off their debt and purchase a replacement necklace for Madame Forestier. When they meet to exchange the necklaces, Madame Forestier reveals that the original necklace was a fake, worth only a few hundred francs. The Loisels realize the extent of their sacrifice and how foolish they were to have allowed their desire for material possessions to consume them. The denouement brings about a moment of revelation and catharsis for both characters, who are forced to confront the consequences of their actions.
