How long did it take for Gustave to make the Eiffel tower?

Gustave Eiffel was the engineer who designed and oversaw the construction of the Eiffel Tower, but he didn't actually build it himself.

The construction of the Eiffel Tower took two years, two months, and five days, from January 28, 1887, to March 31, 1889.
