How do you stay focused while performing?

1. Be well-prepared: The more prepared you are, the more confident you will feel, and the less likely you are to be distracted. Be prepared to answer questions about your work, and have a plan for what you want to accomplish.

2. Set realistic expectations for yourself: Expect to make mistakes and take it in stride. Do not try to do too much at once, and don't be too hard on yourself. Set realistic goals for yourself and focus on achieving them.

3. Create a positive environment: Make sure your practice environment is free from distractions and that you have all the necessary resources. Be sure you are well-rested and fed.

4. Stay organized: Keep your materials and workspace organized so that you can easily find what you need.

5. Use positive self-talk: Keep your mind focused on positive thoughts and affirmations. Encourage yourself and visualize yourself performing successfully.

6. Practice regularly: The more you practice, the more comfortable you will become with the material and the less likely you are to be distracted.

7. Get feedback from others: Ask a teacher, mentor, or friend to listen to you perform and provide feedback. This can help you to identify areas where you need improvement and also help you to feel more confident in your performance.

8. Take breaks when needed: If you start to feel tired or distracted, take a short break. Get up and move around, or step outside for some fresh air.

9. Enjoy yourself: The most important thing is to enjoy yourself while you're performing. When you're having fun, you're more likely to stay focused and give a great performance.
