If you find that you have the daunting task of packing up the home and family and moving across country to Atlanta, you will find that once you have settled into your new place is when the fun really begins. The "ATL" is one of the country's fastest-growing cities and has been likened to the "new Hollywood." Movie moguls, rap artists and business entrepreneurs are relocating themselves and their businesses to the south.   1. Atlanta Underground

    • No visit to Atlanta would be complete without a visit to the Atlanta Underground. Full of shopping, good food such as gyros, pizzas, burgers, fries, and good ole' southern soul food, it tops the list of family entertainment and is conveniently located near the Five Points Marta Rail Station.

    The Georgia Aquarium

    • Atlanta boasts the world's largest aquarium.

      The largest in the world, the Georgia Aquarium allows visitors to get up close and personal with its aquatic life with their touch pools. Boasting more than 59 exhibits, it is educational and fun for the entire family and is accessible from interstates 75, 85, and 20.

    Concerts at Chastain Park Amphitheater

    • Chastain Park is a cozy spot for an outdoor concert.

      Hall and Oates, Diana Ross, ZZ Top, KC and the Sunshine Band, and Erykah Badu are a few of the greats who have or will be performing at Chastain Park. The park has day and evening concerts to be enjoyed. Many shows permit you to bring in a picnic for dining during the show, either at tables up front or on the grassy bank at the bank of the amphitheater.

    Fun for the kids

    • The Wrens Nest is the restored former home of Joel Chandler Harris, popular author of the Brer Rabbit tales in the early 1900s. The annual Wrens Nest Fest has activities such as balloon animals, a bouncy house, sno-cones, a petting zoo, face painting and lunch is also included.
