What painter detested black?

The painter who famously detested black was Paul Klee.

Klee was known for his vibrant, colorful works and his belief that black represented "nothingness" and "death." He even went so far as to say that black "does not exist" in his artistic vocabulary.

While Klee used black in some of his early works, he eventually rejected it completely, opting for a wide range of colors to create his unique and expressive style.
