How do you make goo or slime?

Here's a simple recipe to make goo or slime:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup of clear school glue

- 1/2 cup of water

- 1 teaspoon of borax powder (or contact lens solution)

- Food coloring (optional)

Instructions:

1. Mixing Glue and Water: In a large bowl, combine the clear school glue and water. Mix well until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.

2. Adding Borax: In a separate container, mix 1 teaspoon of borax powder with 1/2 cup of warm water. Stir until the borax powder is completely dissolved.

3. Combining the Mixtures: Slowly pour the borax mixture into the bowl containing the glue and water mixture. As you add the borax solution, stir the mixture constantly.

4. Coloring (optional): If you want to add color to your goo, you can add a few drops of food coloring at this stage. Stir well to distribute the color evenly.

5. Formation of Slime: As you continue stirring, you'll notice the mixture starting to thicken and form a gel-like consistency. Keep stirring until it becomes gooey and slimy.

6. Kneading: Once the mixture has formed slime, take it out of the bowl and start kneading it with your hands. This helps in removing any remaining stickiness and makes the slime more cohesive.

7. Playing with Slime: Your homemade goo or slime is now ready to play with! Stretch it, bounce it, and enjoy its squishy texture.

Note:

- The amount of borax used can affect the consistency of the slime. If you find it too sticky, add a bit more borax solution, but be careful not to overdo it as too much borax can make the slime brittle.

- Store the slime in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out.

This simple recipe allows you to create your own goo or slime that's safe and fun to play with. Enjoy!
