Identify each glyph's angular relationship to each other, which is always changing and can be charted daily. Use the 5 major aspects that describe angular relationships between planets and signs. If you plan your activities when the glyphs are in a triangular, of "trine," relationship the outcome will be more harmonious. If you also use sextile planetary relationships, as symbolized by an asterisk, this is also a favorable time for activities and outcomes.

You will be able to remember the glyphs when you understand the symbols behind them. Aries, the 1st sign of the zodiac, is symbolized by ram's horns in the shape of the letter V. The qualities of Aries are leadership, initiation and boldness. The next sign is Taurus, symbolized by the bull. Its glyph is a circle with bull's horns on top of it or a circle with a V on top of it. The qualities of Taurus are possessiveness, territorialness and natural beauty. The 3rd zodiac sign is Gemini, the twins. The glyph is described by 2 identical pillars standing side by side, or what looks in text like two capital Is, which symbolize the duality of this sign. It represents a mercurial time, a time of communication and conversation. The 4th sign is Cancer, the crab. Its glyph looks like an abstract crab with the 69 symbol. Cancer represents the home body, the miser and the shrewd investor. The 5th sign is Leo, the lion. The glyph looks like a curled lion's tail, symbolizing the sign's need for drama, affection and attention. The 6th glyph is for Virgo, the virgin; its symbol is an M with an arrow going upward with a line through it. This glyph signifies attention to detail, critical analysis and cleaning. The 7th glyph is for Libra, the sign of balance and beauty. The Libra glyph is a set of scales, representing balance. The 8th glyph represents Scorpio and is described by an M with an arrow going upward from it to its right. Scorpio symbolizes the phoenix rising out of its ashes as the glyph's arrow upward represents spirit over matter. The 9th glyph is for Sagittarius and has an arrow going upward with a horizontal line through the bottom of it, symbolizing an aspiring and ever-optimistic nature. The 10th glyph is for Capricorn and it looks like a capital VC together connected with cursive lines. This glyph signifies materialistic concerns like possessions, status or investments. The 11th sign is Aquarius. Its glyph is 2 waves horizontally parallel to each other, representing humanitarian activities, invention and eccentric activity. The 12th glyph for the zodiac signs is Pisces. It looks like two Cs, connected by a line which symbolizes the Pisces fish, 2 fish swimming in opposite directions. This glyph represents poetry, music and jewelry.

You will also be able to identify and understand each glyph for the 10 major planets in our solar system used in astrology. The sun is identifiable as the first major planet by a circle with a dot in the center. Next is the moon, which has an easy glyph to understand because it is a crescent moon. You will identify Venus, the planet of love and art as the glyph of a circle with a cross underneath it. You will identify the planet Jupiter's glyph as what looks like the number 4. You will note that Mercury, the planet of intellect and ideas, closely resembles Venus; it has a circle with a cross underneath it, too, but it also has a cap-like line on the top of the circle which symbolizes the "thinking cap" of mercury. Mars, the small, red, fiery planet exudes much force in our work and sex drives, and its glyph looks like an arrow shooting outward to the right connected to a circle underneath it. Saturn, the planet of karma, has a glyph that looks like a small h with a line through the top of it. Neptune has a glyph that looks like a fork with a line through the bottom of it. Pluto, the smallest planet used in astrology that lives at the end of our solar system, is a lower octave of Mars. Uranus is the revolutionary planet and ruler of Aquarius. You can identify this glyph as a circle with a line and 2 inverted letter Cs on it.
