Open to professional, non-professional and student photographers, the Worldwide Photography Gala Awards (WPGA) Annual Competition benefits Save the Children. The entries in each classification are judged by top professional photographers, publishers, and curators such as Chris Steele-Perkins, Olivia Arthur and Paul Cava. Entrants can submit their work to any of the 25 categories, which include culture and daily life, wedding, fine art, landscapes, and fashion. Categories are defined on the official contest website. Entry fees and cash prizes differ in amount, depending on photographers' classifications as professional, non-professional, or student.

Sponsored by Art Interview Online Magazine, the International Online Artist Competition is open to all artists worldwide, ages 16 and older. The competition is run over the Internet, so artists do not submit any slides or physical works of art. Winners are announced and awarded four times a year. Each entry fee allows for three submissions, and entrants are permitted to pay multiple entry fees to submit more than three artworks. All entries must be submitted through the official entry form, available on the Art Interview website. Winners' works will be featured in Art Interview Online Magazine.

In partnership with the Make-a-Wish Foundation, the Miami Art Contest celebrates the international art community that has developed in Miami. Media accepted for entry are drawing, painting, mixed media, digital art, photography, printmaking and sculpture. As of 2010, the entry fee was $25 per submission; artists are limited to three submissions. The first-prize winner of this juried contest will receive a round-trip ticket to Miami, Florida, two nights in an area hotel, a gallery showing at a top Miami gallery, and a 12-megapixel Nikon digital camera. The winning artists' work also will be displayed online at MiamiArtContest.com as well as in a nationally distributed artist catalog. Second, third, and fourth prizes are also awarded.
