Fun Things to Write in Crayola Window Markers

A window pane can be more than a piece of glass framed by a curtain. It can serve as a notepad or a blank canvas for a work of art. With a handy pack of Crayola window markers, a dull window can be transformed by colorful words and turned into a fun creation.
  1. Window Graffiti

    • Usually, graffiti is the art of the vandal because it damages the environment, but because the marker ink can be wiped clean, windows and Crayola's pens provide a fun clean solution. Write a word, such as a child's name, freehand on the window; or use letter stencils to create the graffiti letters. Use a juxtaposition of two or three colors to make it stand out.

    A Joke

    • Be a comic and write a funny slogan or a joke on a window. Each day, wipe the old joke away and write a new one. Write the joke in one color or try mixing it up by writing your joke using different colors. Illustrate your jokes with funny pictures beside the words or within the gaps of the letters.

    A Cartoon

    • Create a cartoon strip on a paned glass window. Use one window pane for one frame of the cartoon strip. Draw the cartoon all in black or add bright colors. Write witty dialogue in speech balloons in the cartoon to help to tell your cartoon story. Keep this window as a novelty cartoon window. Follow on the cartoon window with the next episode by wiping away the old cartoon strip and replacing it with a new one.

    Window Games and Art

    • Taking a long road trip can be boring for children, so take along a pack of crayola window markers so that they can write and draw on the window. A child can decorate the window with window art. Another fun way for children to enjoy the journey is to play games and use the car window to play noughts and crosses, hangman or picture charades.
