Art Festivals in Arizona

Arts and crafts are celebrated regularly as a way to keep cultural heritage and tradition alive; something that the state of Arizona knows about very well. This is exactly why Arizona offers its residents and guests a variety of art festivals and art shows to choose from; many of which have a specific focus or theme. Furthermore, many of the art festivals held in the state are low-cost or in some cases, completely free for the entire family.

    • The Pinetop-Lakeside Chamber of Commerce is responsible for organizing and hosting four separate festivals at White Mountain in Lakeside, Arizona, two of which are solely dedicated to arts and crafts: the Native American Arts Festival and the Fall Artisans Festival. The Native American Arts Festival is held in mid-July and attracts more than 50 Native American artists and vendors. Typical wares seen at the event include rugs, pottery, jewelry and paintings.

The Fall Artisans Festival is typically held in late September, attracting more than 80 individual artists and vendors. Apart from arts and crafts, the festival also features food, wine and beer, petting zoo, karaoke and a parade. Both the Native American Arts Festival and the Fall Artisans Festival last for three full days, specifically on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
