Connect the positive and negative wires of a 500-watt inverter to the positive and negative posts of a motorcycle battery. This will be the power source for the black light.
Set the motorcycle battery and the inverter into a wooden toolbox. The toolbox will be the portable carrier for the black light.
Plug a 6-inch-tall 115-volt lamp into the inverter. You are connecting the black light's lighting source into the electrical source.
Remove the lampshade from the 115-volt lamp. Then place the lamp into the open-top toolbox next to the battery and inverter.
Screw the compact fluorescent black-light bulb into the socket on the 115-volt lamp. Then turn on the lamp. The black light is now finished and can be transported wherever needed by carrying it in the toolbox.
