Find an image of a celebrity, cartoon or athlete, such as Michael Jordan, Homer Simpson or Michael Jackson. Project the celebrity or athletes image onto a wall. Using pastel paper, drawing pencils and acrylic paint, draw and paint the silhouette of the celebrity. Try creating silhouette of famous poses or buildings, such as Aaron Rodgers championship belt celebration or a Stonehenge silhouette.
Cover a wall using white pastel paper. Have each family member stand still in front of the projector as you draw their silhouette onto the paper. Instruct your family members to do a pose, such as victory pose, a sad pose or a hi-five pose. Use drawing pencils to draw the silhouette onto the paper. Ensure to draw lightly in case you need to erase. Once each portrait is completed, cut the silhouette out and paint it, using acrylic paints.
Find a transparant photo of famous location, landscape or drawing. Project the image onto a wall. Place pastel paper over the wall, and start tracing the image using drawing pencils. Ensure to trace the details of the image. Once the image is complete, paint the details of the image using the trace outline for guidance.
Find a photo of the globe. Using drawing pencils, trace the image of the globe onto butcher or poster board paper. Take water colors to paint an image of the globe. Mix the colors to draw the oceans and clouds, adding in continent details and country outlines. Label each country or major oceans of water to make the globe look as authentic as possible.
