Most girls and women have a particular type of flower they deem their favorite or a flower that bears significance for a family member or loved one. Flowers can be tattooed by themselves, in bunches or even growing on a vine that can twist around legs and arms. Traditional tattoos are black and gray, but you may wish to use color for a flower tattoo to show its beauty and vibrancy.

A bright and beautiful stone that correlates with your birth date can be meaningful tattoo. Part of the unique qualities of the stones will be the color they display, so you may wish to choose a colored tattoo as opposed to a traditional one.

    Fairy or Tiara

    • Tiaras can be the perfect tattoo for a little princess.

Many young girls grow up wishing to become princesses or fairies. It is no wonder that so many young women choose to tattoo a fairy or a tiara to reference their childhood dreams and innocence. These tattoos can either be extremely detailed and require a fair amount of skin to portray appropriately, or they can be less detailed, smaller designs. A variety of colors can be used to show the intricacies of the tattoo or you can choose black and gray.

    Angels

    • Angels can be portrayed as children or adults.

There are multiple tattoos that can be angelic symbols, including a halo, wings or an angel itself. These tattoos can be simple and small, such as a halo on the back of your neck, or large enough to cover your entire back if you wish, like a pair of angel's wings. As with any tattoo, it all comes down to preference and functionality. These tattoos can easily be done in a traditional style with color and white highlights.
