This way, the artist will understand that you know a lot about them, and will be more likely to answer your questions easily and honestly.

  List the questions you plan on asking the artist. Ask about their profession, their specific form of art, and other similar questions that are necessary to the main point of your article/piece of work the interview is needed for.
