Interviewing an artist is not a hard thing to do. Writers and journalists have been performing this task for hundreds of years. Artists are normally on the nice side and don't usually mind being interviewed,because this gives them exposure, too.

      Research the artist you are about to interview. Find everything there is to find about this specific artist, so that you sound credible and smart when performing said interview. This way, the artist will understand that you know a lot about them, and will be more likely to answer your questions easily and honestly.

      List the questions you plan on asking the artist. Ask about their profession, their specific form of art, and other similar questions that are necessary to the main point of your article/piece of work the interview is needed for.

      Collect your information and type an article for the interview.
