Today, using just a standard color at-home printer, it's possible to print anything from t-shirts to stickers. To get an idea of what type of items you can use to print art, visit a specialty office supply stores where you can purchase paper that enables you to print on such items as greeting cards, t-shirts, stickers, magnets, mugs and more.
  1. Iron-on T-shirts

    • Print art onto t-shirts using at-home iron on t-shirt transfers and a home photo-printer

      Creating T-shirts with your art is an easy art project that can be done with your home printer. Iron-on T-Shirt transfer paper is available at most office and art stores for as little as $10. Purchase the specialty paper, prepare your image on your computer and print it. Once the paper is printed, iron the art design onto the T-shirt.

    Greeting cards

      All that is needed for this project is greeting card paper, which is available art or office stores in many sizes and textures, such as watercolor or glossy paper. Be sure to select the proper paper settings according to the instructions. Cut out the magnet in the shape that you want.
