How to Delete Your DeviantART Account
DeviantART is an Internet community for artists to communicate with like-minded people and to market their art to other artists or art appreciators. Signing up for an account is free, and your membership is a low-maintenance endeavor. However, there may come a time when you wish to delete your account. Technically, accounts at this website can only be deactivated. All traces of your account will be gone, but you can reestablish it at any time. The directions for deactivating your account may be difficult to locate but are still easy to follow.

Sign in to your deviantART account. The deviantART homepage should be the top Web page showing in your browser.

Clear the Web address bar. Enter the following address into the bar and press "Enter": "http://www.deviantart.com/settings/deactivation."

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the orange button confirming your wish to deactivate your account. A box appears asking you to confirm your action. Enter your password in the space provided and click the affirmative link; check your email inbox for a confirmation message.
