Loop the yarn into a circle and push the strand closest to the end of the yarn into the circle to form a loop. This is called a slip knot. Put your pointer finger into the loop and pull the two ends of yarn to tighten the slip knot. Your pointer finger will represent the hook during this project.
Move the yarn strand around the tip of your pointer finger. This new loop should be above the current loop on your finger.
Pull the lower loop up, over the new loop, and off the pointer finger. Your pointer finger will now only have one loop on it.
Repeat the following step until the crocheted stitches will wrap around your wrist. To know the true length of the chain of stitches, pull on the beginning end of the bracelet. This will stretch the stitches out to full size.
Cut the skein of yarn from the bracelet with a few inches of extra yarn remaining hanging off the crocheted portion. Remove the loop from your pointer finger and pull the previously cut strand through the loop. Pull the end tightly to form a knot preventing the stitches from unraveling.
Pull the yarn ends tightly and tie the bracelet around your wrist. You can also add a bow when you tie it for decoration.
