Browse the Internet for retailers of the art you like. If you have a specific work or artist in mind, search within the retailer's page.
Browse categories of art by medium, era or subject matter. You can search for landscape, floral, portrait, abstract or any other category you can think of.
Search related pieces. If you want to decorate a room in an artistic theme, check out the retailer's recommendations for other pieces in that style. Some websites will recommend additional pieces that other shoppers purchased together or pieces that are in the same style or color scheme.
Create a gallery online. Many retailers offer the option of creating a gallery, like a shopping cart or wish list, in which you can view several pieces to see how they look together. If the website doesn't offer a gallery option, create your own by saving images or minimizing the windows in which you are viewing the images. You then can arrange them on your desktop.
Decide whether you want your print to be a poster print or a canvas print. If one retailer doesn't offer the piece on the material that you prefer, search other retailers.
Determine the size of piece you would prefer. If you find the same print from multiple retailers in different sizes, compare carefully to pick the best one. Retailers will often stock the same piece in slightly different coloring and different sizes.
Decide if you want the piece framed. If the print is not a standard poster or frame size, you may be able to get the piece framed by the retailer. Check the size of the piece and shop around for frames in that size before making your decision.
